Hotel Reservation Details

  • For DCC 2020, the rate for a standard room at the Cliff Lodge that has two queen size beds is $249/night for a canyon view, or $255/night for a mountain view. Lower rates may be available at other parts of the Snowbird complex, such as The Lodge At Snowbird or the The Inn At Snowbird, which are a short walk away (contact central reservations). All rooms are subject to a $25.00/night resort fee plus Utah state sales tax. Registered overnight guest may have discounted access to the Cliff Spa (see the DCC Local Info page).
  • To receive the conference rate, be sure to specify that you are with the Data Compression Conference (DCC), and specify the conference code DATA21. Reservations that include Friday or Saturday night may require a four night minimum stay. For reservations of fewer than 4 nights, if you are not able to book online, contact central reservations directly.
  • A deposit is required at the time a reservation is made. The deposit may not be refundable depending on how close to the reservation dates a cancellation is made, so be sure to confirm charges and cancellation policy when you make your reservation.

*** Although it is possible to stay in Salt Lake City and travel to and from the conference by bus (about 30 minutes), it is much more convenient to stay at the Snowbird complex where the conference is held, especially when road closures for portions of the day are possible during winter months.

Space is limited. Rooms may not be available after February 1.
